The times for this release haven't been announced - it will likely deploy at some time in the early evening BST/early morning PST.
Mad King Thorn comes to Lion's Arch. Events include:
- The Mad King's Clock Tower (the hardest jumping puzzle in Guild Wars 2)
- The Mad Kings Realm
- Mad King Says
- The Ascent to Madness dungeon
- The ability to work on your Nightfury shoulder piece, which causes bats to fly around you
- Potentially something new that makes you look like a vampire
Less about the changing agricultural season then the name suggests, this holiday is about honoring the fallen. Not to be confused with Pilgrim's Bounty, which takes place in November. Will we see an expansion in this event this year, given the recent losses in Legion?
The Brewfest holiday event was one of the first added and involves lots of traditional dwarven pursuits - drinking, ram racing, drinking, fighting the Dark Iron, drinking, eating, drinking, invisible pets, drinking. There are mounts, pets and achievements available to enjoy.
Wing 3 of the Nighthold Raid Finder opens today - the Nightspire
The second wing of the Nighthold Raid Finder - Royal Athenaem - opens today.
This week Nighthold Mythic opens (if you have completed Nighthold Heroic) as well as the first wing of Raid Finder - Arcing Aquaducts.
The weekly bonus event this week is Wrath of the Lich King Timewalking. You'll be able to run:
- Ahn'kahet: The Old Kingdom
- Halls of Lightning
- The Nexus
- Utgarde Pinnacle
- Pit of Saron
You'll receive badges and level-appropriate loot from bosses. Get a quest from Archmage Timear in Dalaran to also get a Seal of Broken Fate and a piece of gear from Normal Difficulty Nighthold.
Its New Year in Tyria and you can make lovely gold from those lucky envelopes, as well as playing a few games of Dragon Ball. Theres also a Rooster themed backpack to get.
Not sure on the final end date, but at a guess this will run for 2 weeks given Lunar New Year in on 28 January 2017.
